Temvert Empowerment Foundation has awarded a scholarship to a student of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo State.

The beneficiary; Sarah Taiwo who is a 300 level student of Biology Education, officially received the scholarship at the award presentation held on 21st July, 2025 at the institution’s Department of Biology .

Speaking during the presentation; the Founder, Temitayo Olatunde stated that the scholarships that the organization awards are meant to support students who are facing financial difficulties.

Temitayo who was represented by his team members, Olubunmi Blessing Seun and Ayodeji Israel David added that the scholarship scheme is named after Pastor Seun Fagbemi, the founder of Vision Builders Christian Center (VBCC), in recognition of his impact on students’ lives.

“We are saving students from dropping out and also returning out-of-school children back to school. While doing this, we name each scholarship after certain individuals who have made positive contributions to education. When I was facing financial challenges in school, Pastor Seun Fagbemi did a fundraiser for me that enabled me to continue my education. He has similarly extended this good gesture to other students who were struggling financially. Naming this scheme after him is in recognition of his contribution to the educational development.

I am happy that we have awarded #132,000 scholarship to Sarah Taiwo who is now  the first recipient of this Seun Fagbemi Scholarship Scheme.”

He emphasized the foundation’s commitment to continue creating equal access to quality education for everyone.

Speaking at the award presentation, Olubunmi who led the team reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to youth empowerment and educational development.

The Head of the Department, Dr R.F Olaniyan expressed deep appreciation to the foundation for its generous support. He added that he looks forward to more partnerships and support from the Temvert Empowerment Foundation in the future.

The scholarship beneficiary; Sarah Taiwo thanked the organization for saving her studentship through the scholarship grant. She added that the scholarship saved her and revived her hope in completing her studies.
