Temvert Empowerment Foundation Announces Call for Volunteer Head of Partnership and Resource Mobilisation

Temvert Empowerment Foundation is inviting applications for the role of Head of Partnership and Resource Mobilisation. This is a volunteer leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about strengthening partnerships and mobilising resources to expand opportunities for boys and girls.

As Temvert continues to expand its programmes and strengthen its engagement with institutions across different sectors, the organisation is seeking a dynamic individual who can lead strategic partnerships and support the mobilisation of resources needed to scale impact.

Role Overview

The Head of Partnership and Resource Mobilisation will play a critical role in strengthening the Foundation’s sustainability by developing and managing relationships with corporate organisations, development partners, philanthropic institutions and other strategic stakeholders.

The selected candidate will work closely with the executive leadership team to identify partnership opportunities, lead fundraising initiatives and position the organisation for collaborations that support programme growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement partnership and resource mobilisation strategies that support the Foundation’s programmes.

Identify and engage potential partners including corporate organisations, foundations, development institutions and philanthropic networks.

Lead fundraising initiatives and coordinate donor engagement activities.

Prepare partnership proposals, concept notes and funding presentations.

Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Support leadership in positioning the organisation for strategic partnerships that expand programme reach and sustainability.

Experience and Skills Required

Applicants must demonstrate a strong track record in partnership development, fundraising or resource mobilisation.

Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Candidates should have experience preparing proposals, engaging donors and coordinating partnership initiatives.

Strategic thinking, initiative and the ability to work independently in a leadership capacity are also important for success in this role.
